Just CLICK ON EACH                     ICON to take the tour!
Incorporated in 1789, the Town of Freeport has four distinct villages known as Mast Landing, Porters Landing, South Freeport, and the Freeport Village Center, which is the subject of this tour.

The Village Center is generally described as the area along Main Street from Mallet Drive (at the top of your screen) to West Street (near the bottom of this page)

Though famous as the home of LLBean and a world class shopping destination, Freeport has a rich historical significance. Much of the Village is in the Historical District. Great care has been taken to preserve the many buildings which are listed in the National Register.
