The Freeport Community Improvement Association (FCIA) is a volunteer organization of residents, merchants, business and property owners in Freeport, Maine who share a common appreciation for the beauty and unique charm of the Town of Freeport.
Our mission is to beautify our village for all who live and visit here by watchful maintenance of our green spaces and pathways, adding new visual aesthetics and amenities, and preserving the natural character of Freeport as a historic coastal village.
Famous as the “Birthplace of Maine” and home to world-renowned L.L.Bean, Freeport has been the centerpiece for Maine’s important tourism economy. We have visitors that number in the millions every year, coming from around the country and around the world to share a bit of the "Freeport Experience".
Those of us privileged to live and work here year-round should be proud of our special place. We welcome you to join with us at FCIA to make that pride shown, to make Freeport an even more enjoyable place to live and work, and to make the "Freeport Experience" memorable for its beauty.
Now everyone can share a little of the Freeport Experience, right from your computer with FCIA's new Virtual Tour of Freeport, Maine!
